Symposium participation and registration fee
All conference participants and accompanying persons have to register for the 29th IERASG Symposium on our website, which will be coming soon.
The full registration fee includes the participation in all scientific sessions including coffee breaks, lunch, and participation in the following social events:
- Saturday: welcome reception at Koenig Alumni Center
- Monday: Excursion and Wine and Cheese reception
- Tuesday: Awards banquet: dinner and celebration

All students have significantly reduced registration fees and meetings, including all social events.
We offer special registration fees for accompanying persons to participate in all social events, and additional excursions can be arranged.
In addition to complete registration, we also offer day tickets for guests who can only attend part of the conference. The day tickets include participation in the scientific sessions, coffee breaks, and lunch.

Taxi/Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)
- Estimated Time: 45 minutes to 1 hour (varies with traffic)
- Estimated Cost: $70-$100 (varies with traffic and surge pricing)
Steps:
- After you land at DEN, proceed to the Ground Transportation area (Level 5, Doors 505-511 for rideshares, or the designated Taxi area).
- Request a ride via your app (Uber/Lyft) or head to the taxi stand.
- The driver will take you on the fastest route (typically I-70 W and US-36 W) and will drop you off at CU UMC.
Note: Traffic can be heavy during rush hours (typically from 7-9 AM and 4-6 PM)
Light Rail
- Take the A Line from DIA:
From the airport, board the A Line (RTD Light Rail) at the airport station. The A Line runs from DIA to Union Station in Denver. It’s calculated to take 37 minutes.
- Transfer to the Flatiron Flyer (FFX): *transfer from light rail to bus:
Once at Union Station in Denver, exit the A Line and transfer to the Flatiron Flyer (FFX) (an express bus service that connects Denver and Boulder). The Flatiron Flyer buses are outside Union Station.
- Take the Flatiron Flyer to Boulder:
Board the Flatiron Flyer (FFX) heading towards Boulder. This bus will stop at several locations in Boulder, including near the University of Colorado campus. You can get off at the Boulder Transit Center or one of the nearby stops near UMC.
- Walk to CU UMC (University Memorial Center):
UMC is centrally located on the CU Boulder campus. Once you get off at a stop near CU Boulder, the building is within short walking distance.

Public Bus
- Estimated Time: 1.5 to 2 hours
- Cost: $12-$15 (one-way fare)
Steps:
- Catch the RTD Bus: Go to the Ground Transportation area at DEN (Level 5) and look for the SkyRide Route AB bus. It departs from the bus terminal outside the airport.
- The Route AB bus will take you to Downtown Boulder Station
- Once in Boulder, transfer to a local bus/use a rideshare to get to CU UMC. Boulder Transit System routes (like 209 or 206), will get you closer to the University of CO.
- Walking to CU UMC from the bus stop might take about 10-15 minutes depending on where you’re dropped off.

Shared Shuttles
- Estimated Time: 1.5 to 2 hours
- Cost: $40-$60 (depending on the shuttle service and if shared or private)
Steps:
- Book a shuttle. Shuttle services like SuperShuttle or Green Ride Boulder offer shared rides from the airport to various locations in Boulder, including CU UMC.
- Follow the shuttle provider’s instructions for pickup (typically at Level 5, outside the terminal).
- Shared shuttles make stops at different locations, so the exact time may vary.
*Luxury shuttles are also available through Denver International Airport if booked ahead of time.
Option 5: Car Rental
- Estimated Time: 45 minutes to 1 hour (varies with traffic)
- Cost: Varies by rental company and vehicle type. Typically around $50+ per day.
Steps:
- Rent a car at the airport from one of the rental car companies located in the Jeppesen Terminal (Level 5).
- Drive on I-70 W and US-36 W to Boulder/map the fastest route on your GPS to CU UMC (1669 Euclid Ave, Boulder, CO 80309)
