Welcome to International Evoked Response Audiometry Study Group (IERASG) 2025

UMC Building

University Memorial Center on the C.U. Campus

We are excited to invite you to the 29th Biennial Symposium of the International Evoked Response Audiometry Study Group (IERASG). IERASG’s 2025 Symposium will be held in Boulder, Colorado from 14th to 18th of June 2025 at the University of Colorado University Memorial Center, 1669 Euclid Ave, Boulder, CO 80309. We hope you will join us at this important meeting of world researchers, technical experts and clinicians in the field of auditory evoked responses.

IERASG brings together experts in evoked auditory response research and clinical assessment of hearing and balance.  We invite scientists, clinicians and trainees who design and research equipment and protocols, utilizing evoked auditory responses in clinical populations across the lifespan including hearing loss, brain injury, attention deficits, auditory processing disorder, tinnitus, hyperacusis, autism, balance disorders and other topics. We are a ‘study group’ with a primary focus on fostering a healthy environment to mentor new researchers. Students, postdoctoral fellows, and medical residents are welcomed and encouraged to interact with experienced researchers and clinicians.

IERASG 2025 builds on our prior IERASG Symposium held in Cologne, Germany, in 2023, with ~200 participants from over 29 countries.  A goal of IERASG 2025 is to continue to facilitate the free exchange of ideas between students and basic and clinical scientists and to provide a framework for novel collaborative efforts to advance our clinical and scientific understanding of neural processes from the cochlea to the auditory cortex, function, dysfunction, and repair.

The theme of IERASG 2025 is Forging Frontiers in Evoked Responses, highlighting our focus on the intersection between research and the clinic.  An essential goal of this meeting will be to increase the diversity of attendees and presenters. We have an outstanding IERASG 2025 program, including pre-Symposium workshops, the Hallowell Davis lecture, guest lectures on critical topics in our field, scientific presentations, special student sessions, workshops and industry presentations. A particular emphasis will be placed on scientific contributions of students and young professionals, and the best presentations and posters will be honored with the Susan Small Student Travel Award.

The scientific program will be accompanied by a beautiful social program, including experiencing the culture and feel of Boulder, Colorado, with a trip to the RedRocks Amphitheater and hiking around Dinosaur Ridge. Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Dinosaur Ridge offer unique experiences that highlight the region's natural beauty and historical richness. Boulder is a beautiful mountain city with theater, music festivals, museums, hiking trails, great food, and beautiful nearby state and national parks. There are many wild native animals in Boulder, including black bears, deer, mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes, beautiful birds, and an occasional moose or elk.  We look forward to welcoming you to Boulder for an exciting IERASG Symposium, a friendly face-to-face meeting with excellent science that will provide the framework for future directions in our field. We hope to welcome old and new friends to Boulder, Colorado in June 2025– please join us for an amazing IERASG Symposium and be captivated the incredible places you will visit.
